3. Google API Scopes & Third-Party Data Usage
Our App connects to various Google Services to streamline administrative tasks for instructors and enhance the learning experience for students. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, our App utilizes:
Google Calendar API
To read, write, and update calendar events. This allows our Instructors to schedule driving lessons directly into their diaries and syncs booking slots with the student's schedule.
Google Sheets API
To securely log lesson completion details, track student progress matrices, and manage internal operational data.
Google Maps API
To provide location-based services, optimize driving lesson routes, and identify precise pickup/drop-off points.
Note on Data Retention: We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to third parties. Google data accessed by our App is strictly used to power the scheduling and tracking features explicitly requested by the user.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We only share your personal data with:
Your assigned Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) so they can conduct your lessons.
The DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) when booking official practical driving tests on your behalf.
Trusted third-party software tools necessary to run our infrastructure (such as cloud hosting and payment processors) that strictly adhere to data protection standards.
